MIR99A is a microRNA that can regulate NOX4 expression by targeting the 3’-UTR [PMC7407884]. In a study on plasma miRNAs in CAP (community-acquired pneumonia), MIR99A was found to be among the most elevated miRNAs [PMC8358855].
