As illustrated in Fig 3, 7 miRNAs including miR-29c, miR-217, miR-375, miR-215, miR-19b, miR-133a and let-7a had relatively low and stable expression levels (P < 0.05) in early period, and increased significantly (P < 0.01) from 12 to 13 weeks when the gonads entered into rapid development.
